When we think about church planting we usually start with a location or a building. When we think about evangelism we normally imagine inviting people to come to an event or a meeting. We expect people to come to us.

Jesus didn’t ask his disciples to stay in one place, he sent them out. In fact when they tried to constrain him to one location he actively moved on (Mark 1: 36-39)

Practice: Observing where Jesus is moving

• Asking God to open our eyes to the spiritual realities of a place
• Looking out for where Jesus is already working
• Prayer walking streets and neighbourhoods
• Being physically prepared to travel
